4 New Poems Accepted for Publication
Offcourse Literary Journal (http://offcourse.org), a print publication from my former city of Albany, NY, has just accepted for their Spring 2010 edition 4 of my poems. Historic Scenes and Farmer's Almanac, both from my In Country chapbook, still awaiting publication, and Waking to a Strange Letter, a sad little ditty from The Art of Raining, and Blissful Democracy, a cultural poem composed in Athens, from a third fingers-crossed chapbook The House We Live In....

It Is Not You
It is not you I have lost
crossing the road
to taste this other dream
of myself,
following a whisper
of butterfly.
My fairly new poem, It Is Not You, has just been accepted for the Spring 2010 issue (print & online) of Euphony. It'll be available in a few months at http://euphonyjournal.com. Above is a little taste ;)

Counterexample Poetics
My poem Timepiece is now available at http://www.counterexamplepoetics.com/2010/02/john-sibley-williams.html!! Or below ;)
Timepiece
Iron sky, grinding clouds,
piecemeal memories broad and porous
worked over again upon the loom.
Clockwork of sunset-
still my feet and still
edgeless night.
I am tomorrow’s rearview promise-
more canvass
more canvass more dreams
more time to listen to my song
misinterpreting each note.

Ellipsis Publication!!
I'm very excited that, in addition to a few acceptances earlier this week, Ellipsis, a renowned print journal, will be publishing my new poem Psalm One (didn't write Psalm Two until after submitting to them ;) in their April 2010 edition. Only a few of my publications would be available at chain or indie bookstores, li...ke B&N or Powells, so Ellipsis is a particularly good step for me. Their website is http://www.westminstercollege.edu/ellipsis/index.cfm?parent=7563&detail=8929, if interested in checking it out or for submission guidelines...
